Boy oh boy where has the summer gone. I was reminded yesterday by a past bride and friend that I’ve been neglecting my blog. Lisa and Colin, Beautiful DIY Wedding, Sunbury

Pretty – “pleasing or charming in a delicate, gentle, or decorative way.”

I can’t think of a better word to describe Lisa and Colin’s wedding day. Every little detail from the custom printed labels on the beer that Colin brewed himself to the hand picked flowers and seating assignments printed on linen cloth that hung from clothes lines in the field, their wedding day was just simply breath taking.

This beautifully designed wedding was nothing short of elegance and charm. Best of all it was completely DIY in the purest sense. Everything from beginning to end Lisa and Colin had a hand in it. Their creative efforts combined with some help from their loving family and friends made this day absolutely perfect.

What a brilliant couple. Alison and Ben have such an overwhelming joy about them that can radiate any room they enter. They’ve seen difficult times together and I know the love they share in their hearts is everlasting. It truly was a blessing to be part of their day documenting the happiness of family and friends as they surrounded Alison and Ben on their special moment.

I have so many favorites but here are a few to hopefully give you all a sense of their wedding day at the Longaberger Golf Club.

John Lennon said it best, “all you need is love.” When love is strong you can feel its grip on your heart. True love is not something that comes everyday so to have someone in your life to share that with makes love that much more powerful.

A few weeks ago Kim and Marcus celebrated their relationship with lots of smiles, laughter, and happiness. It was an intimate affair surrounded by their closest friends and family. These two are genuinely kind, compassionate people who share such a deep love for each other, their daughter, and those around them.

Kim and Marcus, I wish you both all the success and happiness in your journey together as husband and wife.
