When I walked in the room she had that smile, you know the one that reminds you of childhood friends, carefree and full of joy. And when she saw him for the first time he, too, had that smile, a smile of everlasting joy. It’s that kind of connection that has a certain gravitation pull I just can’t explain. All I can tell you is that the smile they share is so much more – it was special and genuine to say the least.
Last month, I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Courtney and Andy’s wedding at the Columbus Athenaeum. It’s rare nowadays to see the kind of love that Courtney and Andy share. It’s absolutely refreshing to be around them.
I felt an instant connection when I first met them a little over a year ago. And when they decided to have me as their photographer I was incredibly happy. It’s been a tremendous honor getting to know them beyond the lens.
