I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel like Christmas music can be a bit of the same thing over and over again. I enjoy Christmas and music is key in my life. For years I’ve been searching for that “perfect” album with the right style and collection of soothing classics but performed differently then the mainstream radio plays.
While traveling in Gatlinburg I came across this album and after a quick listen, it became an immediate favorite. Could this be it, could this be that “perfect” album? Though I don’t believe I found it, it still serves up Christmas tunes unlike anything I’ve heard in awhile.
So, if you like a little bit of modern acid jazz combined with ambient electronic soundscapes and a bit of lounge chill – this is very cool. It’s got a modern “lounge” feel but is still soothing, relaxing, and uplifting at the same time. This is one of those CDs you’d pop in while enjoying the sparkles of the Christmas lights next to the warm open fire as you sip on your favorite beverage. So, cozy up and check it out – the CD is called, Christmas Chillout by Crystal Theory.
